newly diagnosed cases of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) at the
point of care. This program is designed to serve as an aid to clinical
decisionmaking. The interactive program is not intended to be (nor

judgment. The program should be considered and used in the same way as
any medical reference and in conjunction with all other pertinent
information. Users must not base clinical decisions on this program
until they are thoroughly familiar with the treatment options for CAP.
Treatment decisions must be made by the practitioner in light of
available resources and circumstances presented by individual patients.
